So sad. RIP Cookie, as you look down on us struggling through life and taking ourselves too serious, send us down a good laugh once and a while....

YOung, way too young. Godspeed on your journey.
A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

Damn, I was shocked when I learned.

Even though we never met face to face, Cookie was a good friend to me and to many others here.

Shame, the good die young.

Rest in peace brother.

Thank you Christine. There was always a little 'extra' validation when the Cookie took time to discuss my (our) projects. What a wealth of knowledge and wit. Please know he passes some of that on to all of us here to carry on. Thanks Cookie.

He seemed like someone I'd have liked to have known other than virtually.
I'm only a year younger, so this has concentrated my mind a bit.....good thoughts to you, Cookie, wherever you are now.

God's Speed Good Man - you've been a bigger help than you'll ever know.

Save us all a parking spot - we'll catch up later.

Thank you for the post Christine, and I understand your loss. Ric, you put it well.

For me, rather than dwell on the tremendous loss, I am so happy that I knew Cookie, even if just on-line. All the sharing he did was out of grace, and we could not return the favors. But I can say I am better off for having known him.
