And she went on to a better life. :-)

I've got more than I can handle with one bike (and a farm) so I'll just stick with that.

Progress has been slow but parts are getting prepped and we should be up and running in time for some cooler weather riding.

Thanks for the encouragement guys. I couldn't have done it without y'all. :orange

So, back on Halloween 2011 I made a list.
  1. Install belt covers - DONE
  2. Valve adjustment and covers - DONE
  3. Flush and fill radiator - DONE
  4. Reassemble the forks - DONE
  5. Install forks and add gaters and brace - DONE
  6. Front wheel and brakes - DONE
  7. Finish front end, add Brant's windscreen - DONE
  8. Shelter and seat - DONE
  9. Oil change - DONE
  10. Install sidestand warning light - DONE
  11. Ride - and DONE a bunch!
Looks like it's down to Shelter and Seat. The shelter has a new forward hatch cover, I just need to figure out how to get it on there. The emblems are being touched up by my wonderful wife, "The Artist." Seat is being taken care of nicely. I checked in with the Saddlemaker today and we selected the material and did some design discussion. Pretty much leaving it up to him.

I also need to spruce up the back 2/3rd of her from about the rear master back. Dirt, grime, crap and spiderwebs must be removed completely. :-)

Then it's off to renew the insurance and registration.

That'll leave item #11 hanging on the list. Hmmm. I'm still feeling apprehensive about getting back on that "horse." (Re-reading David Hogue's "Proficient Motorcycling" to freshen myself up.)
