that is why we live in the mountains of SW VA... winters are mild... summers are generally very pleasant

I've been in Texas in Sept and Florida in Jan..it was about as warm as I could tolerate. lol

When we were in NE Oklahoma where it is both hot and humid, by 10 am you couldn't work in the garage for the sweat dripping off the brim of your cap

it's like that here. being pretty much surrounded by ocean it's humid in the summer and that damp cold in the winter that chills you to the bone..

looks like we may move this towards the end of June to possibly have better weather. Do not want to travel over the 4th of July.

I would consider moving the date the other way. Our Junes typically have a lot of rain.
