-ok, I'm sorry for the confunsion. My tappet space was .004 "inches" not mm. Also I've seen where the 1100 needed the exhuast valve clearance to .005in but in my manual it states that it was .004 for all valves on the gl1000. I have no problem changing it. Just want to be sure.
-as for my oil sight glass on the side of the block, It is appox 3/4 the way up the glass..
- I thought about oil and smoke left over from before but its A LOT of smoke. Keep in mind I had rinsed both my heads so I could work on them and rinsed repainted my headers since they were off and needed it.
-for the temperature I noticed that the venturi tubes to carbs 3 and 4 would actually condensate moisture on them when I touched the they were surprisinly cool. 1 and 2 were to the point where they were warming up.
-to recap, I should
-- readjust my exhuast vavle clearance to .005 inches.
--lower the oil level
--rebuild my carbs

That is 99% carbs. Time for a good R & R.
Yes, Honda does recommend .004" on the exhaust for the 1000. But later changed it to .005" for the 1100. Doesn't hurt either way. But I always adjust valves toward the loose side. And especially on the exhaust .005" on a 1000 is not a bad thing.

Any suggestions on the Oil issues. Is 3/4 full on oil sight glass too much?

No that oil level is fine. If you have condensation on the intake runners those carbs are NOT firing.
That means it is putting raw gas into the cylinders and probably washing out a lot of crud. That could very easily be the cause of your "oil" issue. Gas after it has washed through the intake and cylinder and exhaust ports can look and even feel like oil. That very problem has fooled more than a few people.

update: I pulled my carbs and removed the bowls and it looks like they are full of old petroleum jelly!! So rebuild is in order. Once done Ill post again. Randakk is closed till september 17th. so kit will have to wait untill then..What can I do to prevent this from happening again? Is there a gas treatment? Seafoam? Use marine fuel?

Non ethanol fuel if you can get it. Or sta-bil, the marine kind, works pretty well too.

As Robin suggested, Sta-bil for regular use. I like the Tecron for occasional use. I run a bottle through all my vehicles at every oil change (2-3000 miles), but don't overdose it on the bike. YMMV...

Well, I couldn't help myself. I rebuilt the carbs not too long ago with randakks kit so I continued to break them down. Found two float needles that were stuck in the carbs. cleaned them and polished inside the fuel "brass". Since I couldn't order a new kit for a while (randakk in on vacation), I decided to clean them and put them back together. Kinda hoping for the best and preparing for the worst. So Installed them yesterday morning. Turned the key with fingers crossed. Found a fuel line leak and replaced it. Tried to crank again.... It ran like a champ! No hestitation, no studdering, just purring. Even though the smoke was still there. Since I havent riden the bike in a while I decided to ride it and see if the smoke still flowed or if it was reminents of the old leak and also have an evaluation ride. I mean, why not? It was a beautiful day!! Rode down to a local fire station and parked it to inspect everything. The all check was good. The smoke from the muffler had cleared up and no sign of it wanting to return. It idled good, responded good, but it didntwant to idle down as quickly. It didn't necessarily hang but slowly idled down. I believe it is the the throttle cables. so some adjustments wll be coming up soon. So back on the road. I rode for probably 12 hours around the county and then down to fernandina beach, fl (30 min trip one way)
. Ate dinner on the beach, and had a blast. And had no other complaints or issues, (except I might be looking into the hydraulic clutch mod for winter update at some point)
So thank you, Desertrefugee, Whiskerfish, Robin, and everyone else. You guys hit the nail on the head with the carbs. NGW has been an invaluable resource for myself, and many others I'm sure. Keep up the good work and Thanks again!

One more thing. You might've mentioned it and I didn't see it. If your "oil leak" was due to an overfull condition, and the excess wasn't added by you, those stuck floats could've allowed fuel to wash its way down into the crankcase.
That would mean you have diluted oil. Not good. If it smells even remotely like gas, change it. (Do it anyway)
