That's the exact same thing that happened to me. Nice to have a good running bike again!

It died on me about 7 min from home going to sisters for dinner. cut out all cylinders. parked it mom following car picks me up eat nice dinner at sister. go back to bike. pull out a plug from my tray its firing on #2 attach the wire and firing on all 4. ride it home get about 2/3 the way hame bike is firing only on the front 2 opposite of last problem. limp it home pull off the #2 plug and wire get shocked. Reattach the wire cover it with the boot. Just rode around for 35 min no issue.

I hope that Martek is still OK Paul, they're fabulous ignitions. I've got a box full of CB750 Marteks and I put a NOS 440 on my Suzuki GS1000 along with Dyna 3 Ohm coils when the OEM black box crapped out 5 years ago, and it's still going strong. Cheers, Terry.

So Terry your saying I can cut out the black box on the Martek and use it with 3 ohm coils? problem could be in the black box? It looks like a very well built ignition.
I have 3 ohm coil's on one bike I can test them on.

Hey All, Half way to work bogging down pull the front plug this time and there firing now the back 2 are not.
I put in a used dyna and a used coil for the 1 and 2.
I'm putting in a known good dyna and if that doesn't work I might be putting in 1100 coils or just getting some new ones from dyna.
