Thanks for the positive comments... I am in awe of what you folks know and what you share freely, and if my summer job in 1968 brings something useful to the table, I am honored to do so!

Summer job in college: I was a molding tech in a defense contractor facility. I ran a molding press and made air-foils for emergency locating beacons for downed planes... lots of urethane and epoxy molding, sanding, finishing, painting... years after that I figured out I had to throw away all of my clothes because they itched everytime I put them on. No brain, no pain - it was the 60's after all.
Appreciate good people: they are hard to come by.

So I s just working on my carbs for the Ltd, and notice one top is definitely not OEM.... your casting thread can help me make it look OEM

These carb tops made it the 4000 miles from VT to CA, and they're still perfectly sound inside and out. I really couldn't be happier with them. Better than stock, at this age.

The 60's? I was in my 20's,living in northern ca. on the coast.........life was goooood!
