Hey phillip0123,
What jetting did you wind up with in the 32/36?
Thanks.

I live in Charleston SC. I do not have a heated manifold with a weber 32/36. I only had a problem one time when it was 28 degress out. Bike didn't want to start or stay running. However I did make it home.

Thought this thing was sorted out---wroong!
Can get decent idle in the shop but go for a ride may not idle at stop sign. Sometime will but mostly not.
Will fiddle with float level today and see what happens.
Beginning to suspect a decent idle is next to impossibleness.

I have a weber 32/36 on mine. It has the factory jet settings from Carbs unlimited. It Idles great at 1000 to 1100. There are no dead spots per say. Maybe a weak spot or to but I quickly adjusted shifting techniques so there are no worries. Had her up to a hundred or so. That is about it with that carb. I built the manifold myself and was told the runners need to be as close to same length as possible. No perfect as the carb has to set in the frame with the filter on it. I was also told to keep the plenum as close to the same size as the bottom of the carb. My plenum is about the size of all four inlets. I have no heating system on it at all. I have had no issues with freezing except for when it was below freezing. Ridin in 35 degree weather alot with no issues. There are pictures of the setup in my posts under unique carburation.

Try sending him an email. He has not logged in here for over 2 years so odds are high that he will not see your note.
