Did he check for bad gas (in the bike)? I remember someone (whom shall remain nameless!) that had bike problems on one of the Canadian runs!

No not fixed yet. Going after the ignition system next. I think the good Doctor has a set of coils at his house. Probably play with that this afternoon

When it first happened yesterday we pulled the plug and it was bone dry. That is why we went after the carbs first. IR gun showed 300 degrees or so on 3 jugs and 90 on # 1. So it was fairly obvious where the problem was. it lied!
