Agri-Supply. They are a local chain. I doubt they have a presence in NY. I did a search for "fender" on their web site and this is what I found.

They do ship.

I have a Tractor Supply Company less than a mile from my house. Looks like they have very similar inventories of trailer repair components.
I'd noticed, several times over the last 10?years, smallish U-Haul car dollies, I think, that have what appears to be retro looking lights (H-D) molded into their stylized fiberglass fenders. That look caught my eye!

Impressive build! Just finished looking through it and did a bit of reading. Later I will take the time to really digest it. Great stuff, I look forward to road report.

Thanks Marc!!
I was musing today, after not having touched the project for 4 days, that I'm not as far along as I'd hoped to be at this point 4 months ago. But, as with most other fellows, it's been too blessed hot to really get very upset about not riding it, legally
, on the road, yet.
Just having sorted out the engine performance issues last week has been making me so much more relaxed.

Re: Maybe I'll call it Threedom?
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to work on the project for a little over 2 weeks. My way way down lower spine old compression fractures
have most likely been acting up. I haven't been to my family doctor yet to confirm my diagnosis, though.
update Sept. 27th: good news!
My bone doctor determined the L4 vertebra has a closed compression fracture (not an "old" compression fracture
) which is causing my intermittent lower back, legs, and toes pain and other odd sensations. He said it will just take a while to heal, as indicated by a bit of fluid accumulated within the L4 structure........ come back in 3 months. cool! (he advised me to stop falling down, Hard Landings, backwards, too)
anyway!
No narrowing of the spaces between the spine bones, or bulging of discs was noted anywhere in the entire spinal column; at least the vertebrae S-1 up through the L1 and beyond which are visible in the MRI. :-
The Orthopedic doc was a little surprised, (see
) raising his eyebrows abruptly, when I casually mentioned a motorcycle project may be somewhat contributory to bad posture habits, with sitting tooooo long, fully engrossed in some aspect of my project's progress. Life's too short to worry about his reaction.
Therefore, Back to the GL -to- trike transformation, with a bit less worries now.

I too, would love to lend a hand on this one. But that ride would be a touch over 14 hours.
Too bad it's not another 175 miles, then I could do it as a Saddlesore 1k.

I received a little video from GLTriker, Cliff, today. This is from his first ride on July 29th. Cliff said, "...amazed how user friendly the trike was with dragging front brakes and starting in 2cd gear." I'd say so too!

Re: Maybe I'll call it Threedom?
Progress report!
on Thursday, I took a drive in my truck (the mobile trike workshop) to see an independent cycle repair owner fellow that I've known for a couple of years-- fully knowledgeable with naked GLs !-- about pulling the fork seals out my already disassembled fork lowers.
The seals were swiftly removed with his specialized puller. No damage to the castings was suffered.
The conversation turned to what are you using for tires/wheels? He'd seen the YouTube video and remarked they look "a little too big." Yep, 2 inches larger OD than the build was specd. for. He suggested, after I explained the S-10 wheels are basically worn out, that I try yet another Pick-N-Pull about 10 miles farther away for wheels. hum. This is getting old. No luck... as usual. Regretably, I have to let the S-10 wheels retire. Where the axle flange and hub mate to the inner face of the wheel, corrosion has left huge corrosion pits and scars and the wheels are no longer true.
THEREFORE, I need a show of hands which of the 2 new styles of American Racing 16x7", 5x4.75" bolt circle wheels specd for a 4wd S-10 that I found on-line for $113.20 each, free shipping, no tax, would be your personal choice. I can't pass up the price for a brand new wheel, not very heavy at 20lbs., either style.
Honestly, If I could have found Something to buy locally, I would have. My wife isn't giving me any grief either. Finish it before it snows, will you!
the choices are AR883 and AR887 you already recognize the bike The retiring S-10 wheels are 15", the tires are winter tread, et cetera, etcetera, etc.
The tires I have, and you'd already read about a couple of months ago (actually, now 4!!), are perfectly serviceable 215/60-16.
Thanks for collective input!!
