Kinda live in the region - I can be in Gahana or Mid-Ohio in about an hour give or take a few minutes So I'm sleeping in my own bed

I'm pretty sure I could be at the BBQ

I have other things going on Saturday & Sunday - I'm planning on Friday at Mid-Ohio & and part of Saturday

If you attending the AMA Vintage Days you might want to consider purchaing your tickets in advance. The costs continue to increase, this year $30 a day at the gate and $20 a day in advance. You can get a weekend pass for $35 in advance. Not too long ago it was $20 for the entire weekend.

Nice catch, will do. Dropped off the form for our spots at AMA headquarters the first of last month and have not heard a word from them yet. But they have not billed it yet either. I will call next week if I don't hear anything.

Nice if you can drop off the form in person, as on the web they want $9 in shipping just to mail out those tickets. So $44 for the weekend via the web in advance and 45 for the package when you arrive. Ridiculous.

For those attending Mid-Ohio,as you know,we will have a booth to sell parts to help w/the cost of the vendor space,as well as defray costs of this forum. Having said that,and with Steve's(Whiskerfish) permission,I am posting this for any members who are in need of parts to PM me. I plan to donate 25% of all parts sold to the club to help in any needed expenses.

I will be posting my phone # soon for those attending to meet at the booth,or elsewhere. I will be posting this in the for sale section also.

My Schedule is starting to firm up a bit. Gonna be a busy 2 weeks.

Tuesday 29 June I go to Richmond Airport and retrieve John (Old Fogey)
Wednesday 30 June Old Fogey heads West for Tn. and I head North for Buffalo (Family commitment)
Monday 5 July Back on the Bike I head South to Norfolk.
Tuesday 6 July I pack truck and trailer.
Wednesday 7 July I hit the road for Gahanna Oh. arriving at Oldewings that evening.
Thursday 8 July is setup at the Swap Meet and Barbecue at Oldewings
Friday-Sunday at Mid Ohio
Sunday 11 July Teardown and Packup
Monday 12 July drive back to Norfolk.
Tuesday 13 July sit down and be still

Plans are getting finalized here.

Shupnfish and I have been put on a short leash for this trip so we're going to have to cram double fun into every minute.

We'll be leaving here early on Thursday, July 8th and heading to the BBQ at Oldewing's place. It's about 6-1/2 hours from my place to Gahanna via the I-70 'slab. I suspect we'll be landing around mid afternoon. Guessing that we'll need directions to Oldewing's place ...

I finally got around to reserving a room near Mid-Ohio and man, was that a chore. Seems everything is booked for some motorcycle event of some kind. Go figure. I found a place in Shelby, OH for 50 bucks a night and they seem to still have some rooms left. It's the Relax Inn. Not much info at that site but there are bikes in the pics so it can't be all bad. Right?

DJ and kYpondman: Are you still planing on going early? I can't make it any sooner than the 8th and will be heading home on Sunday, the 11th.
