Thanks guys,
Nothing beats being in the wind on something you resurrected.
Sooo right you are Roady. Good feeling sayin' "yeah I restored that", too.
YOU MAKE EVERYTHING LOOK EASY
thanks to the magic of photography...The day the braintrust at NGW make a Bloopers Message Board I'll have a huge thread. lolol
The detail on this bike is fantastic
Boufie, Thanks, I'm glad you like. These bikes are a prestigious marque and we all want to see them done up and running right. And not headed to the crusher. Thanks for your feedback. :orange I'm going to post a summary of my cost$ soon. I'm sure I went over my expectations for a knock around machine, but I wound up with a cool scoot with a great history that will probably out live me (at a whole lot less than a new ride). Cheers anim-cheers1

Well I have 500 miles+ logged in on the CONDOR. This motorcycle is such a blast. For the first 60 or so miles I stayed pretty close to home base. First long ride was 170 miles, extended highway. To my surprise it didn't take long to relax and ride. Not that I don't trust my repairs, I just run the whole build process in my head. 'Did I tighten this? Did I check that?' All went well until....temp gauge pegged ! Didn't see it happen so I pulled off. Did walk around didn't seem hot. Why didn't my hot rod relay fan switch work? Oh well, let set for a while and figured I'd head home. Started it up and noticed fuel and temp pegged.. Ahh. Before I got to the next exit all was normal. Temp switch works great. Long red lights, no problem. Gremlins in the 7v ? Enjoyed ride, got home and drained oil (with splash of SeaFoam). Looked good replaced with Rotella and filter. Since then put on another 280+. All good and I think getting better! Big question; the seat? Works good for me, but I'm used to bicycle seats :-D . Get a drop (of oil) now and then from valve cover on right boot (badge of honor).

Excellent! I so know that "stay close to home" deal when I first roll out a bike. And always take a tool kit and bailing wire!!
I found the end of the internet
