A few weeks back when we had the big Chinese Bot attack one of the first things I did was to shut down "Guest" access to the site. I also reached out to our Server Company for help. They did some tweaking to our access files and I have since added a few thousand more "bad guy" IP's to the banned list and the traffic seems to be under control. So as a result I have been able to unlock portions of the Site again. The following are open to "Guests" for "read only access".

If the traffic becomes unmanageable I will lock it down but for now if you need to share information with someone not a member you can send a them a link an they should have "read only access" to these forums and Shoptalk with it associated links.

Also as these Blocked IP's encompassed many thousands of connections I know a few members may have been caught up in it. I have been contacted by a couple and had to remove them from the Blocked IP listing. If anyone finds themselves blocked please used the "contact admin" on the Welcome page and I will fix it.
