So this may get a few eye rolls but I can’t remember on how to determine the proper polarity of an ignition coil.. I bought a set of the Chinese coils off of eBay and the terminals are not marked at all, so how do you determine what goes where ?
I know they can be hooked up either way but should work better when correct ,,, any help ?

Re: Coil polarity
It might matter a bit with single plug wires. Maybe.
But I doubt it would make a lot of difference with dual fire coils that don't have a secondary winding connection to ground because whichever way you connect them one of the plugs will spark from the centre electrode to the ground electrode and the other plug will spark from the ground electrode to the centre electrode.
