Well the physical Terrorist stopped in today. Pretty Normal stuff. The exercises are mostly the same as I have already been doing so nothing dramatic. Basically the same as the ones I was doing after the Arthroscopy work 5 years ago. She did measure my knee bend and I found out what I thought was over 90 was exactly 90. She also measured my straight leg and pointed put the deficiency there. So I have some work to do. Pain during the day today was down another notch but last night was a struggle. I could not get comfortable and only slept a few minutes at a time so a nap this afternoon was very welcome.

I am at the one day is a step forward and the next day really sucks phase. I was way too active yesterday and paid for it last night. I slept better but this getting up every 45 minutes or hour crud has to stop. Doc started me on Tamsulosin and told me it may take a couple weeks to kick in. I actually did make it from midnight yesterday until about noon before I needed a narcotic. This morning was not as good. Pouring rain all day so except for the couch exercises I am planning an easy day.

Had post OP check yesterday. Still significant swelling. Doc says I am walking too much and to knock it off. So being lazy as ordered. Muscles are starting to loosen up so I can actually do most of the exercises now. I Have had 3 Home Therapy sessions and now cleared to go to outpatient therapy. Will start that next week. Also getting a referral to get the hip checked out. Currently the hip is the biggest obstacle to me sleeping. Knee pain is down to about a 1 most of the time sitting static and not terrible when walking. Hip is about a 3 most of the time so getting set up for some imagery.

If it comes down to hip replacement time explore anterior replacement (go in from the front).
Much quicker recovery.
