If the pocket in the wheel is slightly oversize - you can use a "prick punch" and make some indentations even-steven around the ID of the wheel bearing pocket. That will raise some pips on the ID and create more interference. Then you can try bonding (Loctite, JB weld, etc.) the outer race in. Unless the ID is really bad, the pips will center the bearing race. The pips alone will mash back down after some time and without something else in there to take up the room, the condition will return.
You could also try shimming the outer race in. If it's .13mm oversize all the way around then .07/.08 shim stock should do the trick.
However you do it, concentricity is really important or the wheel won't run true.
As a side note: I spun a front wheel bearing on my 1800 and junked the wheel. Not easy to do since it has two bearings on each side. The idiot dealer tech put the bearings in with the seals facing inboard.

Re: Click-clack-clunky noise from rear end while rolling.
I have an update to this post I have been following.
Always a wealth of info & inputs from all members, whether it’s technical or moral support.
I pinned the inside hub housing on both sides, 8 per side
Coated the hub inside with red loctite (sparingly) reinstalled the bearings.
I put a few miles on last night. No noise from the rear hub riding or pushing the bike.
I am going to licence her today & take her for a highway ride.
Fingers crossed!
