I'm back.

Post by Dougal »

After not being active for a while, due to my GL1100 trail wing being sold, I am back after obtaining another naked Goldwing for my garage. She joins my 2000 GL1500 and my wifes 1996 EML GL1500 trike as well as my Aprilia Dorsoduro 750.

Its a tastily stripped down GL1200 Aspencade and is currently as I bought her. I am thinking of changing eh headlight and maybe the silencers, maybe even fitting a GL1200 standard tank if I can find one.

Been about 15 years, welcome back. Bike looks good but I would be tempted to change the headlight also. May be hard pressed to find a shelter from a standard.

You’ll probably need to find an ‘84 Standard bike to get that shelter … then you’ll have another nice project …

'84 standard gl1200's are as rare as ro king horse poo in the uk. Honda never imported them here. I do know of a nice one for sale at £3750
