Hi - I had exact same problem of first finding, then cleaning the spooge hole in the rear brakes. Eventually I borrowed an ultrasonic cleaner and immersed the part completely in brake cleaner and gave it a good 30 mins. The cleaner rapidly got dark - so I changed it few times (each with another 30 min or so in the sonic bath) until it remained clear. Then Ta-DAH! I could clearly see the now unplugged splooge hole. Sorted! Now working perfectly.
