Ratchet within a Ratchet

#1

Post by luludog »

I know.. it sounds odd, but back in the mid-90’s I was at Carlisle, PA. Gentleman was selling these ratchets. Claimed he needed to sell 100 of them to pursue a venture with Sears/Craftsman. I ended up buy one for $25. Kinda of a cool tool. He was demonstrating it by loosing a spark plug and then using the shorter handle/ratchet to whirl the plug out. The shorter top ratchet spins at 2 1/2 turns per revolution. Tried it a couple of times and then it went into the “better store it here, and never find it place”.
Anyone have one or seen one?

Seems kind of cool. I can see some advantage over a regular flex head, but...seems like it didn't make production?
