This trip is creeping up my list.
Been shopping for travel insurance and apparently only rich 80 year old Canadians can afford to travel south of the border
Looks like my future riding may all be in Canada ...

Not looking so good for me anymore ... rules have loosened up and my one major trip this year will be the NGW Eastern Run.
Can only afford one big trip a season these days.
Sorry to miss it.

apparently Parks Canada hired some locals to monitor traffic.
So this happened on the weekend on the Cabot Trail
There was a young moose on the side of the road then it went on the road and it sure put on a show walking up the middle of the road and stopping traffic in both directions then it went right up to a guy on a motorcycle and stood right in front of him and stayed there for a few minutes then off it went back up the road

At least it is a cow. After several close encounters young Bulls scare me. Very unpredictable.

Holy moly, that's a road! Quite a trek for most of you though. Accomodation ssems reasonably plentiful but some of the prices..................................

You have to remember that the prices are in that funny Canadian money. Loonys and Twonys.
No, when I researched it the prices were converted to £s

Depends on when you go..during the summer it's tourist season..everything is open as for as restaurants, etc and prices are higher. Off season they aren't but a lot of places are seasonal.
