I set the timing on the 75 using a timing light and a window plug I bought off of eBay a while back then re keyed the ignition and shelter lock for the 80.

I fixed an erratic miss on my 75 wing. The bullet connections at the condenser were just loose enough that they would snap into place but still jiggle. I squeezed the female connectors enough that when they snapped together there was no jiggle at all.

Rode the 75 another 100 miles today. She is much better. I think the issue I have now is that she is running too lean. I have some bigger jets on the way and 2 more carb kits. Also starting to look at one of the 77 models that has been sitting on the far side of the shop for the last 2 years. Even if I get it running it will take a month or two to fix all the neglect and PO stuff. If I can move the 75 while in Tn. that will be my next project. Time to start clearing out the shop.

Rode all three today.
75 is doing good. New jets came in so tomorrow I will play with those.

78 is very sick. I guess the ethanol got to her also. I barely made it home. So those carbs will be next on the work bench.

08 is the 08. Push the button and go.

New Owner's brother picked up old "blue", my 77 Gl1000. I know she's going to a good home and I kept her in the NGW family. Now, I get to watch for "stupid PO" complaints. Should not be many, I was trained on this forum, (in more ways that one). Lol
I hope Rocky enjoys her.
Now my stable is empty. crying1 :P

Gents;
I am still playing with my Chinese gauge clusters, I have two identical models, one has a tach that reads double, the other has an accurate tach but the speedo is in-op.
UGH! Anybody out there know anything about solid state micro-chip electricity? More UGH!

Bout 95% I can finally call the 75 ready for sale finally. I bumped both main fuel jets up and all the nasty behavior is gone. Engine braking is nice and smooth without any backfiring and acceleration is noticeably improved. Too cold for a long ride today but will get her out in a day or 2 for a good run and do a plug chop.

Tomorrow the carbs come out of the dressed 1000.
