they don't even list a carb kit just individual parts.

I have need to know, what was the flywheel issue you had mentioned when you started the original carburetor topic all about?
Reportedly, the owner stated it had been addressed several years ago, but it hasn't run right while they have owned the ATV..
You've also stated sometimes the engine kicks back against the starter.

Is the ignition system operation and its ignition timing dependent on the flywheel's correct and intact indexing with the crankshaft?
Although I am unfamiliar with these larger displacement 4 stroke engines, I had seen several loose hubs in 2 stroke chain saw engine flywheels 30 ish years ago.
