Timing belts
The part numbers for these belts are different in the UK

Honda part #14400-371-04/14400-371-14
Gates #T274
NAPA #250274
Goodyear Gatorback #40274 (AutoZone & others)
Can anyone say what car they are for and the I can get UK ones.
Or if I can dimensions and number of teeth i can find out as well

Re: Timing belts
Honda Affinity is coming to mind, but I think that was for the 1200.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Re: Timing belts
One of the numbers I've seen in the forums is the Gates 5119 (available only in Europe?) This link gives some other manufactures and part numbers (I'm not familiar with any of them.) http://boodmo.com/catalog/part-timing_belt-1448330/#

Re: Timing belts
I have to wonder why the European number would be different for the same part

Re: Timing belts
Thanks, if someone can just confirm 87 teeth and 19mm wide I may be able to add some info to the crossover list.

Re: Timing belts
So... I'm having problems finding the belts here in Belgium... Apparently neither the US reference, neither the 5119 can be used...
Would anyone have any more info or a picture of an actual belt with the number part from gates or other brand?
Thanks in advance

Re: Timing belts
I never actually saw one of these, I don't think they were ever sold here. Kinda ugly cute, definitely not built for the full sized man.

For a GL1000, I use a Gates T274. I buy them on Amazon for the best price.

Re: Timing belts
Problem is that if you search for gates T274 in Europe you wont find them. That's where this 5119 number comes from, which is also a gates number. Goodness knows why they have different numbers for the same thing in different areas.pidjones wrote:For a GL1000, I use a Gates T274. I buy them on Amazon for the best price.

Re: Timing belts
In Australia the Gates code for GL1000 and 1100 timing belts is T916.
I hate to think why the same company has different internal part numbers for the same product worldwide!

Man oh man do I wish I had Photoshop talents. I just had this crazy visual of a “full-sized” Liam at the wheel of one of those things. I’m sorry Liam, but that was a funny, funny visual you gave me!
