While I’m doing a restore and rebuild - what should I be doing for the radiator? General maintenance like a flush etc?
Also, any of you ever use engine ice? Wondering what coolants are compatible with the old bikes - have used and like engine ice on newer bikes.

Re: Radiator maintenance while restoring?
Sidecar Bob has a very helpful page on this in ShopTalk, to include some about your coolant question. I pretty much did everything that he mentions with regards to the whole cooling system. New hoses, system flush with distilled water as per the Honda manual, new o-rings through the whole cooling circuit, new thermostat, new radiator cap. For the radiator itself I just made sure I got out any debris that was stuck in there, and I bent any stray radiator fins back in place.
