Destroyed felt sealing rings on GL1100 carb choke shafts

Hello,
My carbs are GL1100 Build 1981. The sealing rings where the choke shaft goes into the carb are made of felt. Besides sealing, seemingly the felt rings act like a soft bearing. Because I don't see any other bearing design for the shaft. The sheetmetal disk is just to keep the felt ring in place.
This felt ring is completely destroyed, maybe by bakteria which have a nice party in our ethanol blended fuel in Germany.
Now the choke shafts have extreme bearing clearance, and I suffer false air intake.

Now I've seen in the web shop http://www.motorradbay.de replacement felt rings for carb throttle shafts of several Honda models like CBX, CB. You may type "Filz" (for felt) in the search field there, to see all available models:

Does anybody has experience in refit these felt rings? And from which type the Felt rings could fit onto my GL1100 choke shafts?

I made new ones out of ~2mm thick felt stock. I used cork borer cutters to cut the felt. I don't remember the size of the borers. These were on the throttle plate shaft, not the coke shaft. Leakage from the choke shafts isn't really a problem for vacuum, it's more for dust seal. A leaking/worn felt at the throttle shaft will greatly affect carb sync.
