This first one is my home, name is the same, but the avatar is different. http://www.cb900c.net. Good group of guys, mostly the issues that we are after are keeping the bike going or doing some restoration on them. Not much for bike building like you guys do.
If you want some performance information there is the sister site of my home, http://www.cb1100f.net. This is a much larger forum then the 900C, so lots more posts. There are a few posts that even talk about building fuel injection for the CB750/900/1100F's.
Another one that I used to be active in is http://www.thegsresources.com. This focuses on Suzuki's GS family, I think they had GS's as small as 125, I think the largest GS they cover is the 1150. They have some good information on charging systems, as the GS had a rather questionable system. This site has quite the spread of info because it covers so many vastly different models. Some of the forum stuff that might be of interest is the Tips'nTricks area, and the appearance and performance mods. There is alot of info on restoring and performance mods on the bikes.
Some of the forums are more friendly to ridders that don't ride the covered machine then others. I like to think my home would welcome anyone, but we have often recomended someone finding an additional forum because we don't know much about the bike they have.
Anyway, thought I might toss a couple of places that have some different specialized info. Hope you find something interesting.

The GS was a mistake, and a big one. After it developed an electrical problem that killed all non engine systems I started looking for a goldwing. The 900 showed up and I got it for $700. The bike looks pretty much like it did, but it runs much better. Valves that are out of adjustment are a power killer.
