Hey! Great question, the clip-ons BARELY touch the tank when it is completely turned. I'm going to make some adjustments and hopefully fix the issue. It needs about half a centimeter of distance moved.

I don't think that'll be happening later down the road, but theirs a lot more to get to before rotors, haha. Just keep in mind people, this bike is not DONE yet. Fenders and chroming in stage right now

Thanks guys! It's not all done yet, but it's getting really close! I've appreciated the input and help along the way!

"I'm going to make some adjustments and hopefully fix the issue. It needs about half a centimeter of distance moved."

One alternative is to add an 1/8" (or ??) to each end of the stops. Some have drilled and tapped the triple tree pieces to accept a bolt for adjustment.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

THAT is a great idea! I wasn't even thinking of that, but that could be a perfect solution. Thank you for the idea ericheath!

Hey everyone! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

I've had a bunch of work going on with the Dark Green Wing. I have painted both the front and rear fenders to match the motorcycle and even the head lamp bucket as well.

I even went the extra mile and made some custom color matching helmets; because why not?! I had the paint and thought it would be really cool to have everything matching =)

All right everybody. I'm calling the Dark GreenWing DONE! Finished the fenders on the bike, painted some matching helmets, repainted the top shelter and took the bike out the other day for some photo ops! It was a great project and I learned an INSANE amount! It took me about a year and a half to complete, but with all of the information I learned, I feel like I'd need only 3 months to get one all done, haha. Thank you to everyone who helped with any little questions, I am proud to be apart of the NGW-Club!
