Thanks! It's the cleanest bike I've ever owned, lol! Funny thing, I started it up yesterday, and it ran really crappy. Played with the choke, then the throttle. After a couple of blips, I caught a glimpse of some small movement behind the bike out of the corner of my eye. Gave it a twist again, and dark projectiles start shooting out of the left exhaust. Charred acorns were flying ten to fifteen feet behind the bike, lol! They finally stopped after about five minutes, but I'm pretty sure there's more where those came from. Guess I'll be dropping the exhaust, lol!

GRR! I just typed a loooong answer, and lost it because I'm too slow!
First thing I'll say is I'm no expert, so I take lots of precautions. I've seen too many of those 'fail' videos on Utube to take anything for granted. I won't ride a bike up a ramp. If it runs and has brakes, I walk up the left ramp, bike up the right, with the bike sort of leaning into me so it can't go over center. I ALWAYS have at least one assistant I can trust, and we make a clear plan ahead of time, and don't rush it.
My ramps are 10 foot 2x10's to reduce the angle, and I try to load on a hill when possible. They have pre-made ramp ends that sort of hook on the tailgate. I also use a strap from the middle of the ramps to the truck to prevent them from sliding off.

And after typing all that, I'll just say, renting or borrowing a trailer is much easier, physically, and mentally!

Thanks for that. Evil Knieval was out of the question, or so I figured. I seriously thought of 'winching' from the truckbed. You are right with the trailer. Worth the U-Haul price for the safety!

I had the same idea of a winch, and picked up a boat trailer winch for a buck at a garage sale. Haven't put it to use yet, as I haven't really figured out how I would want to mount it... The hardest part about using a winch or 'come-along' is where to attach it on the bike so you can still maneuver it. Been there, done that, lol!
