Got some more done, cooling system installed. I'd get more done, but life intervenes.

Electrical hooked up (mostly). Got the panels back from clear coat. They look amazing. Even the scarfed up one with the tooth brush fix. The guy wanted to re-sand and re-coat one area, though. Get that tomorrow. Can't wait for the weekend!

The "plastics" look beautiful!
It's a "shot in the dark" but maybe a shoe repair shop could address your key fob? It was just a thought...

Thanks for the suggestion, I took it it into our local shoe repair shop (1 mile away), they said they only work on shoes. Bummer. I emailed another local leather worker, no reply yet.

Well, got her up and going, for the initial heat cycle, everything was working fine..the the neutral switch started leaking oil. Bummer. Took out the switch (looked new), stuck it in a light vice hold, and noticed a crack in the plastic. Tried to disassemble and plastic came out in parts, after turning out half-way. Got another on order. Another delay! Summers getting away on me. I knew everything was going too well today.

While waiting for the new neutral switch to arrive, and before bags and backrest are installed, took some photos of the "stock" look. I will be installing hondaline (samsonite) hard bags and a hondaline pad attached to a amco back rest. The amco fits into the original hondaline bag holders, but is much lower for my ladies back comfort.

I'll have to find a 77 seat, sometime.

Looking awesome, only a neutral switch problem after all that work is great. Did the LTD's have the little painted rad wings?
I'll bet you're itching to ride it!
You're too small to ride a hog Billy!

The "radiator wings" on the LTD are chrome.

Thanks everyone, hard to see in photos, but there were a lot of small ugly spots all over that you could see in person, hence the redo. Been alot of fun getting away from the home office desk. Can't wait to get out on the road.
