Re: Cafe/Hot Rod Build 79Gl1000
Funny you should say that, I have thought the same thing ever since I put it on there. Today I was looking at bottom mount brackets for a headlight mounted to the lower triple, the forks are tappered so the headlight brackets can't be slide down any further. Any suggestions?warhead_71 wrote:Just my opinion, but I think it would have a more aggressive profile if you lowered your headlight more so the bike looks more "hunched forward"... so the top of the headlight is even with the top of the faux tank.

Thank God for my wife who was willing to grab all the tools and rescue me. I wonder what all the people in the office buildings thought when I pulled out the torch...RAT wrote:Where do you carry the torch ??

New headlight. I'll get some profile pics of the bike once the weather is better. Proportions look so much better and cleans up the front end some.

Yep, congrats on BTM. For 30 days you get to wallow in pride that your scooter is on the front page. It gave me the flitter-flutter in the ol ticker. Nice. It reminds me of a bulldog.
If there is one thing I have learned throughout this process it is this: Check your respirator for spiders before you put it on.

I think a photo with you and the boys NOW with the bike finished would be a nice footnote to this build thread...
