Side Stand Failure
My 1200 Standard has always leaned a lot on the side stand .... recently it seemed to be getting worse, I checked the mounting bolt and aside from a little free play, it seemed OK .... then this morning, as I parked at work, the stand just folded up ... caught the bike just in time and got it up on the centre stand
Anyone have this problem? Gonna need a 'new' removable frame piece ?

I believe all the 1200's including the std use the same.
The 1100 might fit, haven't tried, but they look really close.
The 1000 is a different shape.

Are you sure it is the frame and not the stand or the bolt? "A little free play" over time will basically saw through the bolt to the point it will break. Of course, if the frame piece you're getting happens to have the side stand, you'll be good...
