It's a 140/80-17, Michelin active pilot. Front had a brand new one when I purchased it, really nice tire. It will build some confidence when I lean the bike into turns instead of waiting for it to roll on its side with the old tire.

That's what I was thinking. Not much of a project there at all ... unless <gasp> you're going to "cafe" it. Pretty soon the sweet unmolested ones will be really hard to find. Heck, they already are!

Nice score!

It's one of those 15ft bikes, looks good at 15ft or more. Needs a lot of TLC. Has only 1500 original miles. It looks like original owner used it as an actual dirt bike. Plan to update some of the parts to modern times but keep it some what stock. I guess one step further than resto mod.

That will be a great project! Nothing too intensive, but a lot of potential for a killer cafe!

I have been tossing around the idea of getting it running painting the side cover and fork covers (wrong color) and riding it "barn fresh" for a while. At least it will be cost effective...

New tire is amazing, handles great. Chicken strips at this point are an 1", cautious to lay it over anymore due to the pipes.
Replaced my dash lights with blue LEDs, matches pretty close to DanMoto cockpit.

Whoa! I like that blue look. (So much so that I might consider stealing the idea).

I'm surprised how well the L.E.D.s light up those old timey gauges. Looks real good!

Got this battery, brand new laying around the garage, any reason why it wouldn't be a good idea on my Goldwing? I like the small size, I am planning on making a smaller, low profile side cover and its free. The biggest bike listed for this battery is the 80s Honda Interceptor 750. Keep in mind everything on my bike is LED lighting except headlight.
