SO EXCITED!!! My small LED projectors came in the mail today! Significantly smaller than I anticipated, but still ridiculously bright! Turns out they're only 1.5 watt each, but still think they may work after testing with the garage lights off and door closed. Also got in my 4 Amber LED turn signals! Guess I need to get the cart back behind the horse and get crackin on the carbs now...

Nice work. Just so you're aware and not to be a killjoy, but turn signals have to be a specified distance from the headlight. You may have to move them if the right/wrong officer decides to check you out. Again, just making you aware.
Whatever I suggest here should be given ample time for a moderator to delicately correct. I apologize in advance.

Thanks for the heads up, thinking I will build a pair of bar end mirrors with the front turn indicators built in, and put the rear just barely off of the rear frame fender mount area.
So... Started digging into the carbs... And got some bad news. Think I'll need some input from the professional carb gurus. First off, two of my carb top hats had the top center plastic perkolator thingy missing... The other 2 the perkolator dealie looks pretty bad... So, question. What does that thingy do? Is there a reason why it's plastic? Could it be replaced (I know it's kinda swaged in place with an o-ring under it) with a solid aluminum piece? Or does it need to be plastic? I'm a lathe spinning wizard so I'm positive I can create an accurate reproduction (whether plastic or aluminum or stainless) and form the edge back over to permanently attach the new piece, just curious if it needs to be clear plastic like polycarbonate, or if it can be white uhmw or black acetal or ? Or aluminum, 6061 is cheap and I've got tons of it... Next problem, after a few minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner, it looks like one of my carb bodies is pretty much junk. The other 3 are pretty dang good shape, but one had some heavy corrosion, and it appears that the threads for the jets are entirely destroyed and eroded. So I'm keeping an eye on a set of bodies on eBay. Any input from the pros about that perkolator carb top piece? Thanks!
That one jet actually can move up and down about 1/8" without turning, and can spin freely but won't come out...
