Long overdue update on my '81 std. Have gone on 4 over 250 mile runs and am loving it. Replaced the timing belts, all fluids, steering head bearings, fork seals, tires, battery and added a windshield. Need an opinion on the reason to chosse between the air and non-air Progressive shocks for the rear. Mine are starting to bottom out with a passanger. I have aired to 53 lbs. Does fine one up. Want to have a passenger (my wife, 117 lbs) ride with me (I am a HEAVY 135 lbs). Need to know which shock would be the best for my situation.
Looking for other naked wings in my area to ride with. Let me know if you are interested.
