can anyone tell me is a sealed beam headlight from a fairing will fit in a reagular headlight bucket? are they the same bulb?

yup, as long as it is the same size 7" Bob

Sorry, Bob answered the question... As long as it's a seven incher, you're good.. The Honda line fairings (like those on the gl1100's) had I believe a five incher (I'll have to check to be sure...).
