Greetings, fellow 'Wingers.
I'm trying to get my 'Wing going yet again, and I'm about to change the oil. In the Clymer namual, it says to remove the oil filter screen from the right side of the engine and clean it out---just like that, as if there were no obstruction. Are they kidding? The frame is in the way! Am I missing something here?

No you are not missing anything. Clymer is up to their old tricks again!! If you ever pull your engine put this on your must do list but otherwise don't worry about it unless you experience a clutch failure or something similar that requires a thourough flush.

Yeah...the Honda Shop Manualmmstingray wrote:... The frame is in the way! Am I missing something here?
.-)
..which tells you to "..loosen the bottom engine mounting bolt
next to the oil screen cover..
..remove the cover-screws...blah blah
and then this:

cracking out the frame with a crow/pry-bar-hammer-thingie
Not that I ever would want to do that.
