Front Master Cylinder

#1

Post by bhschn »

Hello All, I rebuilt my front master cylinder and put it all on tonite and for some reason it will pump up real hard and will not release, I have to crack the bleeders to get the calipers to go back, upon rebuiding I noticed there where two holes under the fluid bowl, I cleaned the one up pretty good but could not get the other little hole to open up so I thought maybe it was supposed to be that way but know I thinking that the other hole is for releasing the fluid back in to the master cylinder, am I right to assume this, any help would be appreciated, Bill :?:

That is apretty good assumption bhschn. Afraid you will have to take the master off and get it real good and clean. You won't be the first to have to take something back apart and redo it. Not that I ever have.
