Bev H. - A friend of the club has passed

#1

Post by Brant »

I have sad news to tell the club. Bev Huntington, Ron's (hmratbam) beloved wife, has passed away. Apparently she suffered a heart attack, I'm not sure just when but either just this AM or yesterday.

I only met her once. Rumor has it she was a splendid cook and loyal wife, and a friend to many, many people. It saddens me greatly to know she has passed, but she goes to a better place than this. My heartfelt condolences to Ron and his family.

Ron and Bev at the Devils Canyon Run last year.

Bev attended the run in Deadwood with Ron in 2009, and brought along Ron's mother when she drove the chase vehicle for us. Ron also lost his mother this month. Please keep Ron and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Our deepest Condolences to Ron and the rest of the Family. Over the years I have heard Bev mentioned several times by different people and it sounds like she was a very Special Lady. I am sorry I never got to meet her.

Ron has been a real bedrock for NGW, I had the pleasure of meeting both his mother and wife, you could tell they were devoted to each other. My prayers and thoughts go out at this time.

As one who has yet to lose someone as close as a parent or partner, I cannot imagine the pain of losing either but to lose both in such a short time must be devastating.
My sincere thoughts and condolences are with you and your family, Ron.

Ron, my sincerest sympathy for you and your loss. Bev was a real hoot to hang out with, and bantering with her at the Hells Canyon run is a memory I will never forget. Very sorry my friend.
