Ok,
since it's warm now I spent the day yesterday with tuning. Bike is now running pretty good. Surging in idle is still there, but not as bad as before. I observed, that after reving up and let the Gas "slip" back the bike is reving up and down for 2 or 3 seconds and is then stabilizing it's idle. No false air - I checked the system with some brake cleaner and no reving up. I assume, that fuel is falling out in the plenum because of to much acceleration enrichment. What do you think, could that be? There is no way to adjust the acceleration pump mechanism. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Karl

P.S. I started another thread with another idea.......

Does that carb have a bypass jet for the accelerator pump? Many Webers do. A larger bypass jet will flow more fuel back into the float chamber.

Ok,
short update. The bike is licensed and running! Very good idle and nice acceleration. But there is still a flat spot around 3500 rpm. I can get around it if I "pump" some fuel with the acceleration pump into the carb but that can't be the solution. It is from the spark plugs look still a little rich but obviously not all over the map.
