This is where discussions of EFI systems, Dual Carbs, Single Carb mods and plans can be discussed and shared.
If you are working on or have a problem with stock carbs then your questions do not belong here, please post them in the Goldwing Tech Discussions Forum.

You have two carbs for the single setup so I think you have two options. You can go back to the stock 4 carb setup (performance-wise it's your best option) or PM HOTT and see if he'll build you a single carb manifold like the one he has on Ole Sparky. I like his design far better than the one you're working with now.
Of course if it was me it would be something totally ridiculous like dual DCOE's...
Robin and Fish - Do you think these could have been tuned? I had doubts about tuning them because of the severe bend in the tubes to #1 and #2 cylinders. (The $1700 EACH to have them STL'd was also an issue after the lottery ticket turned into a loser.)
(BTW the purple thingys sticking out are nitrous nozzles. A boy can dream can't he?).
Just about anything can be tuned with enough time and patience. The question is how well it will run at all rpm. Like in my earlier post sometimes you have to give up something one place to make it run right some place else. The carbs on my race bikes are a prime example. They idle ok. They run great at WOT. But usually fart and pop at part throttle. Those carbs have no jets. The only adjustment you have is idle speed and needle height. Easy to tune though. You get the idle good and plugs looking good at idle. Then you go race.
Oh, and yes, a boy can dream. There is at least one Wing here that has nitrous on it. And I use it on one of my race bikes. Very fun stuff when you get it right.

I went to my family friends for christmas and got to talking to his dad. His dad is a well known engine builder and alum/stainless fabricator. He told me he will build me one that will work. He told me pretty much all the same issues that you guys posted about it.
Sooo, I delivered the bike to him today. I will keep you guys posted on the build
