Thanks Ruff.

I have no idea how you can keep all of yours looking so nice. I have a hard time with just the one. :-)

Well, I have just the one bike also. But once a month or so with some Mothers is all it seems to take to keep it 90 percent polished, and that works for me.

Roady, If you need any help with those carbs, DO NOT CONTACT ME! I seem to be the carb master of misfortune these days! Looking forward to seeing your bike come together. Ernie

It looks like the Winnie recovery project is ready to proceed. Thank you Richard for sending me the beautiful covers, they really turned out nice. And I promise not to mess them up this time.

I just had to get a picture of these gorgeous parts.

If you want shiny, professional looking parts, send them to Sunnbobb (AKA Richard, Moses, Bradshaw, etc.), it's money well spent.

Roady, Nice looking parts. They will look great on the bike, but I would be remiss if I did not mention that this would be a great time to have a spare gl1000! Now I'm watching your thread!

It was fun reading all this. I'd love to see the spread sheet now that you have come this far with your restoration of Winnie.
Mr. Peabody from Durango
1982 GL1100 Standard "The Wayback Machine" original condition.
1980 GL110 Aspy going nekkid.
