Sure, it's nice, but what will it cost to keep it on the road? (Apologies in advance for those of you on dial-up.)

Wish I had the money to buy something like that. I wouldn't buy, just wish I had the money. :orange

OK. Here is the plan.
We find some rich doctor (who likes 1978 GL1000's - possibly from Oklahoma) to buy us one of these rigs.
We sell the tractor for big bucks.
Then we take 10 naked GL's and weld them together like they are each others side cars.
Make a harness attached to a custom 5th wheel and string the double-wings together like the Budweiser clydesdales.
Remote control throttles and brakes (for what they would be worth) and some kinda proportional steering to account for all the different radii in turns.
We can do this if we can get enough power out of the GL's. I'm thinking that dual overhead cams would be useful.
Because our stators are weak - the "Double D" model generators may come in handy at night. We'd have to get them in pairs.

Love it! But apart from the expense of buying it and then getting it over here, it couldn't go anywhere! Totally illegal as to length, width and height for our roads.

It barely makes size restrictions here. The second story is hydraulic but the weight is ridiculous.

What does it weigh? Max load weight here (special loads excepted) is 44 tonnes (metric)/ 48.5 tons
