You don't generally say that unless there is a great deed done of some sort that people or a person really digs . Or if someone does a good job on something and not as big a thing and you like about you'll say a( a piece of pie to ... to the whoever .( just a small condensed version ).

besides being an acolade, it's a damn good treat. my grandmother used to make them at least 6 at a time because we would kill to get our own pie. what i would give to be able to have one now..........T.
