goldwing piston help

hey guys trying to restore a 1978 gl1000 cant seem to find the pistons i need for it. they are 72.mm oversized any help would be greatly apreciated.

Part of the problem you are having maybe the size you are requesting. Pistons come in Standrd, +0.25mm, +0.50mm, +0.75mm and +1.00mm.

Have you considered geting a stock shoerblock with the original bore for your machine :?:

this is wildman i have been looking for 72+0.50 pistons for my 1978 gl1000 motorcycle. cant seem to find any please reply if you have any info

Just wondering on this, will the gl1100 pistons fit the gl1000? probably using a different wrist pin, but you never know being that honda uses so many parts from the bin.

The 1100 pistonsshould fit the conrods OK, but the cylinderliners may not be thick enough to be bored out to the right size. Fot the benifits obtained I cant really see the point.
