I have made a manifold for my Weber 32/36 DGV Manual choke carb to go on my 87. Took a while to do with the help of a buddy at his speedshop. The legs are a s close a s possible to even given I did not modify the frame to fit the carb and air filter. You can view it on my album here. http://community.webshots.com/user/vagrant50
I believe there are some shots with it installed in the frame on the engine. If not I'll update. Have not run the system yet. I am just about ready to put the whole thing back together.

Please if you can tell us what you used for boots between the manifolds and intakes? I see two hose clamps on the ones at the camera side of the engine.
Thanks

Hi Brent, I don't remember if I asked you or not but what jetting did you start with??? Been so many topic's here and there, I forget who I've asked !! I'm still in the process of putting on my Holley /Weber 32/36 clone on, just been riding while I can !! Later Bob
I bought the Carb new from carbs unlimited and I do not know what size jets are in it. I will find out soon as I am sure there will be some adjusting to do. Just about ready to put the thing on my completely rebuilt 87.

Just about have it ready to go in. I have sanded some and am going to give it a quick sandblast and put a protective coat. Then I will install and place the carb on. Hopefully i will have the fluids in it and be ready to fire up and tune. Fingers crossed.

Put it in two nights ago and put the carb on. Weber 32/36 DGV straight out the box from carbs unlimited. I mean straight from the box! I don't even know what jets came in it. Anyway I put some gas in it and turned the key. The motor turned over three times and fired. I let it run until it warmed up. SMoked for a bit but i expected that the bike hasn't run for four years. Once it was warm I think a half turn on the idle and it was done. Running good on all four too. Sounds great. I am extremely pleased so far. Hope to test ride in about a week. Gotta get the clutch master fixed and a couple other small things. Not to mention a tag. I don't think I will ever be that close to dead on again.

I have noticed that the manual choke acts like it isn't working. Does not matter what I set the choke at I still have to open the throttle a little to keep it running till it warms up. Once it warms up it idles fine and is very smooth on acceleration. I verified that the choke is working correctly. I will cold start it again tonight and see if I can make any headway. I am still very pleased with the setup. I am used to taking a bit of time to learn how a new to me bike acts when starting and warming up.

Mine starts up a lot faster than it ever did with the stock rack on there.
I don't know what the jets on mine are either. It was installed on another bike that had a really messed up suspension on it. I just swapped it straight over.
My manual choke cable connects to the carb at the back (the tank side) of the carb, with the throttle shaft wheel on the left and the fuel inlet on the right.
I found it was binding up badly trying to make that sharp turn, so I drilled a hole even with the choke clamp mount and ran the cable down the inside of the left fold down fake tank cover and into that hole to the carb. Works great!.
I find that the throttle cables are too long to route the way they were in stock form, how ever if you just let them naturally run out past the headlight and then back in where they are supposed to be, they work like they should. I made a cable tie mount on the right headlight ear to keep them from flopping around.
