He changed more engines than you can believe,
Then he installed one that was good...

Cookie, now you know why the people in the rest of the states think all of us here in California are crazy....hahahaha only kidding man you missed your calling...
WF I have about 4 extra engines you can swap out....hahaha one more engine and you can be classified a "professional". If the speedometer is to be believed the highest mileage is 44k. I am building shelves at my shop and my 4 parts bikes are going to be dismantled , cleaned , inventoried and shelved. Talking with a powder coating guy and a chrome shop , my chevelle is back on the road, 442 should be done in about 4-5 months..... then wings only!! should have kicked that vicodin years ago I have so much more energy maybe I should kick my Dr.???? dancr

We are making it! I got the bike out for a 70 mile run this morning and she is running strong. I drained the oil when I got back and I was not happy to see so much clutch material. Not enough to really worry me but enough to get my attention. The clutch is acting fine so I guess it is just from sitting all those years and me pounding on it this morning

I got the bike reconfigured for John. Put on a stock seat and luggage rack/sissy bar and removed the risers from the handlebars.

Tomorrow I need to fill it with gas and finish putting together the tool kit and she will be ready.

Yes Sagebrush I even fixed the exhaust leaks!! Well except for the one back by the axle

John should be leaving his house for the Airport in about 3 hours I think. Glasgow to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to JFK, JFK to Richmond landing about 6:30 PM tomorrow.

Good work Steve, I hope this bike make it through the next couple of weeks without any problems. I might have to make John ride a good distance behind me, not sure I want to be associated with that sissy bar

This heat is going to be a real shock to Johns system. Glad we have a short day planned for Wednesday.

The last forecast I saw for Wednesday was in the 80's here so it should not be to bad for him. We hit 100 again today here in Norfolk. I checked and Buffalo's High on Wednesday is in the 60's    I think I will have to break out the long underwear to ride up there lolol lolol lolol lolol

Have a great ride folks, wish I could make this one but no go. Quite a saga, so I do hope it all pays out in the end.
