You are getting to be a bad as I am. Maybe we will see a bit more of you or maybe just Beth when we are in WA. Just across the river from Portland.

not easily for me, but I am sure she would enjoy seeing friends. And yes, Steve, I thought of your "commutor marriage. There was a really old movie with Alex Guinnes where he played a sea capain who sailed between two ports and had a wife in each port.

Planning to make this one, looking forward to it. Hope it is not the first long ride for me this coming season.

For those who don't mind a nice ride to and from Mid-Ohio,the CWC members are staying at a '50's style no tell motel in Bucyrus,OH. 1-419-562-5014 Al Smith's place. It may take some calling to get through to make a reservation.I booked a room there w/2 double beds for $128.00 inc. tax. Don't know if it has gone up at all,if so,it's not much. And that is for 3 nights!

I have trailered my bikes to the motel in the past couple of years, since I usually bring 2 with me...Ride one on Fri.,the other one on Sat. This year, the CWC wants to have a full representation of the 1000 series of bikes. One of each year,so I may ride the Zonker, and have someone trailer my Yellow '76 survivor down to the track.

I will certainly will plan to proudly represent the 1977 GL1000. This bike was mechanically restored by Inspector and now for my part of the teamwork I have it repainted in a rather non-traditional way. But since I have a most excellent 1977 seat and she runs so fine, I have no desire to put her on a trailer. I must say I am amazed Alwing that there is only one 1977 in your mighty fine fleet, but I bet it too is a mighty fine example of the year.

Sounds like a great deadline to have my wing project running. 240 miles from my house, Hmmm. If I can get my wing up and roadworthy I'll plan a couple nights. If I haven't yet, I can cruise that before lunch on my Strom crossy.gif . You can count me in for at least an afternoon! :orange
