I installed my new rack of carbs over the weekend.
I gotta ask...
I see on the forum that members talk about removing the carbs and reinstallling them to check floats, etc., and I'm wondering how you do it with such apparent ease. I had a helluva time taking them out and putting them back in, and I tried every way imaginable. The only way I could get them out and install them was by removing the air cutoff valve.
Yep that is the normal way to do it. It is easy to reinstall once the carbs are back in the frame but a major PITA if it is on the rack. I am not sure it can be done with it installed?
