Nitril O rings

#1

Post by Dave of Hutto »

Due to the high number of O-rings found in a Gold Wing I went to Harbor Freight and bought me a nitril o-ring set. It has 397 O-rings!
I got it on sale for $6.95 US. Folks I can not tell you how nice it is to take the old hard o-ring and match it up and then install it. I replaced the drain plugs on the carbs, the intake seals, the forks air line, the rear shocks airline. You know the dealer would really stick it to you for those parts. That and the lead time you need to get them in. I could not replace the small o-ring found in the back fire circuit on the carbs.

That yellow 76 in my avitar, I miss daily. Should have kept her.
