Your Mom fed you Kids Brains!? I'll have to make sure my kids never try to sell cookies to your mom less they get whacked and their brains scooped out and served up!Ruffrider wrote:My mom used to feed us kids brains and tounge. Maybe she thought that it'd make us smart or sumpin', cept alls it did was make me a loud mouth smart ass!Just kidding, I'm actually rather pensive. Ha

I've been pretty cautious and try to keep away from the exotic foods. I wouldn't mind trying gator or rattler though.
Do you know what it's like to fall in the mud and get kicked, in the head, by an iron boot? Of course you don't--no one does--that never happens. - Capt. Rex Kramer

Chit'lins???
NO THANKS!!! And I'm from the south. It's kind of a staple around here too! I just cant get past the smell!
Although last year I had a severe stomach bug with a mean case of explosive diarreah(sp?). I know what a chit'lin feels like after that was over. Like the crap has been slung out of them!

Blood sausage is not too bad; the Fillipinos that used to buy our pigs would have us save the blood in buckets and they would make a chocolate/blood/alcholic drink with it. I tried one once but it wasn't my cup of tea...

Raw bacon. I've known some to eat it that way. Can you spell triganosis?

Oh ja! Das ist gut. Blutwurst ist das beste überhauptkitbutterfield wrote:Blood sausage, anyone?
Our german place here in town has the "wurst" plate... any three sausages and a side of bread/butter. It's like $4. I always get a Jeger, blut and Pfeffer.
Then I go home and fart mustard gas.

My Club Sandwich came like that at the Hard Rock Cafe in London. Just couldn't eat the bacon and took it off.Recycled Roadkill wrote:Raw bacon. I've known some to eat it that way. Can you spell triganosis?

I made three 3 trips to japan in my career....don't ever ask what you're eating there....the only things I really didn't like was the cuttlefish, and some soup that looked like grass clippings in spit....and tasted like that too. When I declined that the 2nd time they tried to serve it to me, the Japanese guys laughed...one guy said, we don't like it either, but our mothers make us eat it...
