I know a lot of Honda's from '70 - '80 used identical carbs mounted
to different racks. Some of the carburetors was bigg and some was smaller,
but the design was the same.

cb900c uses the same from what i've seen, so dose the f and i think the 750.

If you want to hear people complain about carborators look on http://www.cb1100f.net. If you don't know the cb900 came in two flavors, C = cruser, f = sports bike.

I've wondered how much work it would be to fit different carbs to the gl family. Maybe it can't be done.

Maybe i better keep my trap shut on this one.

I think so, if you build a new rack...

i'm not supprised about the number of bikes the carbs made it onto. must have gotten a pretty good deal, if i'm thinking right that is most of honda models from late 70's to early 80's.

Thanks for the list guest!

i'm not clear as to the diaphram that you're talking about, unless it's the air cut off valve or the acelerator pump. I think that the 1980-83 had these parts, if it's the 75-79 i have no idea. But then again i've never even gotten a good look at the out side of a gl carb. But i do have two 1980 model hondas, both on that list and they both have the parts i'm talking about.

If it is ether one just buy new ones, that aren't that pricey.

https://www.partsnmore.com/cat_index.ph ... egory=carb That's the page to look at. Not bad prices there ither.
